OUR RESTAURANT DINING AREA -- LOBBY -- LOUNGE:
Our restaurant (tables shown below) opens at approximately 7 AM, and closes at approximately 9 PM.
Belle Ellsworth purchases fish, shrimp, lobster, meat, vegetables, fruit, spices, other ingredients, etc., at the local market. Of course, she selects only the best and the freshest of everything.
Belle usually writes a new menu every day, depending upon what is “best” at the market each morning. Also, she always asks our guests if they have any preferences regarding special dishes, special foods, etc.
Belle does not need to make a profit at her restaurant. Therefore, she charges only enough money to cover the cost of buying food – preparing it -- cooking with gas and electricity – waiting on tables -- washing dishes – sterilizing the utensils -- etc.
OUR SEMI-PRIVATE DINING-LOUNGE AREA:
There are eight computers in Skip's private lounge area. Therefore, the air-conditioning is "on" 24 hours per day that room. This is where Skip often "hangs out" with friends and guests.
OUR FIRST "HOME-GROWN" BANANAS:
This is the first bunch of bananas from our own trees here at the beach. We were sooooooo proud of ourselves -- although for "what" I do not know, because we did absolutely nothing except watch them grow.
OUR THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY ARE AS FOLLOWS:
liberty depends on the freedom of the press, and that cannot be limited without
Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President of the United States (1801-1809)
"Closed doors and secrecy are prerequisites to tyranny."
Stanton, Frank L.
“Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people.”
